Portico

Microsoft's Direct3D 9 tutorials from the DirectX SDK, compiled unchanged to WebAssembly. Their Direct3D 9 calls run on WebGL2, their Win32 window and message loop on this page.

Measured against the real Direct3D 9 on Windows, with the same frames captured from both: the mean difference is 0.26–0.54 out of 255 in Chromium and Firefox, and 0.000–0.007 in the native build over ANGLE.

This browser lacks WebAssembly JSPI, which the samples need: use Chrome or Edge 137+, Firefox 153+ or Safari 27+.
